Gr.5 titanium orthopedic plates — annealed UDI block + GS1 DataMatrix at 0.080″ char height. Verified to AIM DPM grade A.
Contract laser marking for medical devices, aerospace components, and precision industrial parts. Annealing, deep engraving, etching, and color marking — to your print, in batches from one to one million.
Gr.5 titanium orthopedic plates — annealed UDI block + GS1 DataMatrix at 0.080″ char height. Verified to AIM DPM grade A.
Anodized aluminum IUID nameplates — CAGE-coded, deep-engraved DataMatrix passes Class B inspection per AS9132.
White ABS handheld housings — UV laser foaming, red and black mark layers, model number and serial in one cycle.
Copper EV busbars — sequential BMS serial + DataMatrix. PPAP Level 3 docs included with every lot.
When a part fails traceability, it gets scrapped. We mark to your spec the first time — clean, in-tolerance, and documented for audit.
FDA UDI compliance, GS1 barcodes, surgical instrument marking, implant lot codes. ISO 13485 documentation included.
MIL-STD-130 IUID marking, MIL-STD-2073 packaging codes, low-stress annealing on fasteners and turbine hardware.
VIN plates, AIAG B-4 / B-17 traceability, EV battery cell marking, brake and steering component serialization.
Cutting tool branding, calibration date stamps, asset tags, hydraulic fitting torque codes, gage R&R-friendly marks.
Each process leaves a different signature. We help you pick the one that meets your specification, surface, and downstream process — passivation, anodizing, sterilization, you name it.
A subsurface oxide layer formed by controlled heat. No material is removed — the surface stays smooth, passivates normally, and survives autoclave cycling. The gold standard for surgical instruments.
Material removed in successive passes — typical depths 0.001″ to 0.030″. Reads after paint, after sandblast, after coating. Used for MIL-STD IUID plates, tool numbers, and part marks meant to outlive the part's surface treatment.
A shallow, high-contrast frost on the surface. Faster than engraving, cleaner than annealing on alloys that don't anneal well (300-series at low power). Ideal for logos, asset tags, and high-volume cosmetic marks.
On titanium, controlled oxide thickness produces real colors — gold, purple, blue, green — without inks or dyes. On engineering plastics, we run carbon-black, red, and green foaming marks on white ABS and PEEK.
We switched our UDI direct part marking to LaserFlow after a competing shop's annealed mark failed crevice-corrosion testing. Fourteen months later, zero rejected lots and our auditor stopped asking about it.
First-article photos with the parameter log in the email, every single lot. I never have to chase them for documentation. That's the difference between a vendor and a partner.
An engineer reads our prints and flags issues before we run. The cost of one re-mark cycle on a 100k-unit lot is what pays for everything else.
A few adjacent services we run in-house so you can hand off a finished, traceable part instead of routing it through three vendors.
Nitric or citric passivation per ASTM A967 / AMS 2700, with first-article test coupon. Required after annealing on most surgical instruments.
Selective coating, paint, or anodize removal — clean fiducials, contact points, ground pads. Replaces hand-masking and scraping.
Bagging, labeling, and drop-shipping straight to your customer. PPAP-ready packaging, MIL-STD-2073 codes available.
3D-printed and machined fixtures designed in-house. Most fixtures amortize into per-part pricing after the first run.
Every job ships with traceability documentation: drawing revision, machine ID, operator initials, mark-cycle parameters, and a sample first-article photo. If your customer needs PPAP, FAI, or DHF support, the data is already there.
